Join us for a free workshop to discuss anxiety and learn strategies for managing your anxious thoughts.
Hosted by Therapy for Black Women
Life keeps coming at us—work, family, relationships, the world—and sometimes it feels like we’re running on fumes. Anxiety can show up quietly (that racing heart, the overthinking, the sleepless nights) or it can take center stage. Either way, you don’t have to manage it alone.
This 90-minute interactive workshop is a safe, affirming space for Black women to:
-
Recognize how anxiety shows up in your body and mind
-
Learn tools to calm your nervous system in real time
-
Explore mindset shifts to stop spiraling thoughts
-
Practice boundaries that protect your peace
-
Reclaim joy and balance through community and sisterhood
Led by licensed therapist Alexcia Wattie, LMSW, who understand the unique pressures and resilience of Black women, this workshop blends evidence-based coping tools with cultural connection, mindfulness, and real conversation.
You’ll leave with practical strategies, a sense of grounding, and a reminder that you are not your anxiety—you are whole, worthy, and capable of rest.
