It's My Anxiety: A Daytime Online Therapy Group

Fridays, Starting December 12,

3-4:30PM for 12 weeks

Join a supportive community of Black women who understand what it’s like to carry worry, pressure, and the constant mental load of showing up for everyone. This 12-week virtual therapy group provides a safe and affirming space to learn, heal, and grow—together. Facilitated by Alexcia Wattie, MSW, LMSW!

Through guided discussions, skill-building, and shared reflection, you’ll learn to:

🌿 Recognize triggers and symptoms – Identify thoughts, feelings, and situations that heighten your anxiety.

🧘🏾‍♀️ Develop coping strategies – Practice relaxation, grounding, and problem-solving techniques you can use in real time.

💭 Challenge unhelpful thoughts – Reframe negative or catastrophic thinking patterns using CBT-informed tools.

🤝 Build social confidence – Strengthen communication and interpersonal skills through group connection and role-play.

✨ Increase daily functioning – Gradually re-engage in activities you’ve avoided, improving your overall quality of life.

This group is facilitated by licensed therapists who specialize in supporting Black women through anxiety, life transitions, and self-healing.Each 90-minute online session blends education, conversation, and encouragement—helping you build practical tools and community support that last beyond the group.

Should I Still Be Feeling Like This?: Online Postpartum Therapy Group

Saturdays, Starting December 27,

9-10am for 6 weeks

 

 


 

A group for postpartum moms who may be feeling overwhelmed and struggling to get back to their normal sense of self.

Join us for a 6-8 week group for postpartum moms get back to center, get back to feeling like themselves, embrace your new identity and find a balance between motherhood and their own sense of self! This group will be facilitated by our own Shaneena Robertson, LCSW!

No therapy experience needed!
